16th June 2017

On Thursday 8 June, Year 2 visited Woburn Safari Park and had a fantastic time!

We got to see lots of amazing animals on the road safari and on the foot safari.  The children loved watching the penguins swimming under water although we did find them a bit smelly!  We got up close to some monkeys and lemurs, some even tried to get in our bags to look for food!

We went to the elephant talk and the children loved watching the baby elephant play in the water and one of the most exciting parts was getting to stroke the elephant.  "That elephant is nearly as hairy as my daddy’s tummy” was how one child described their experience!

It was a great day out.....
