9th June 2017

On Friday the 9th of June it was Year 5 Egyptian day and everybody was dressed beautifully. Then everybody acted like we were actually Egyptians and like we were in the country 1,000 years ago.

In the morning we did the register like normal and took photos. We had 10 activities like wrapping mummies, writing on papyrus and many more other exiting and fun activities. Everyone loved the feast and entertainment. Groups of people did different yet fun activities such as dancing, acting, miming and Apus bull (questions answered by a bull sounds weird)!

Other children were slaves and they served us our food and the chief slave (the old wise one) tried one piece of each food to check if it was poisonous - luckily none of the food was!

We can’t say thank you enough to all of the staff and a couple of parents who helped on the day, we could not have done it without you.  THANK YOU!
