FUNDRAISING NEWS AND UPCOMING SPRING EVENTS - 19 January 2026
We wanted to welcome everyone back to the Spring Term.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Festive Friday last month, and a huge thank you as well to all of our volunteers — without you, we wouldn’t have been able to offer so many stalls for the children to enjoy. Thank you to all the families who watched the festive performances and generously donated at the end of the shows. We are delighted to share that we raised just over £1,400 through our festive fundraising!

Tuesday 3rd February - Bags to School
If you're having a spring clean...... please drop off any old clothes, shoes, accessories to school. PAWS get a small payment for every kg of clothes donated. Check out their website to see what can and cant be donated. Please bring bags into school from Friday 30th January.

Spring Disco
Details as per our email and Class Dojo messages. However, this will only go ahead if we can get some volunteers to help set up, offer refreshments or run some activities. If you can help set up, clear up or during the event itself, please let us know by emailing us direct (as email address above).
We are always looking for helping hands for all of our events! Please let us know if you would like to know the details of our next committee meeting.
EASY FUNDRAISING
Did you know, when you sign up to easyfundraising we get free donations for Wheatfields Primary School? This money is used on play equipment, Year 6 Leavers gifts, public speaking competition prizes, Egyptian day and much more. PAWS also give the teachers a 'Year Group fund' so they can buy things to bring their lessons to life. This has previously been spent on enhancing outdoor areas, including forest school, books, sports equipment, bread making ingredients, science experiments, design technology provisions and much more.
Easy fundraising is a simple (and cost free way) to ensure that PAWS can continue to keep supporting the school.
The handy shopping assistant is available for your laptop or computer, and on iOS and android devices. This means Wheatfields Primary School won’t miss out on any donations as you’re shopping online.
