Easter Holidays 2025 - Norris Museum

Easter Egg Hunt Gallery Trail - From Saturday 5th April to Monday 21st April

Search the museum for the Easter egg images and work out which springtime animal who each one is for. Collect all the letters and work out the mystery word! Show your complete trail to earn some Easter stickers – free!

Flowerpot Bunny Craft Packs - Create your own springtime bunny using a terracotta plant pot, pompoms, felt, ribbon, shredded paper, and paper flowers.  The pack also contains instructions and a Curious Rabbit Fact Sheet.

Just £5.00 per pack, or two for £9.00 (or mix and match with the other craft packs we have on sale), available to buy whilst stocks last from the museum shop from Saturday 5th April.

Eggcellent Easter: Family Story Time - Wednesday 9th April 10:30am to 11:30am

Discover eggciting Easter stories, craft your own sock bunny and bunny ears. Hunt for egg decorations hand choose one to colour in and take home. Enjoy Easter egg-themed playdough, as well as more books and games in our courtyard garden!

£7.50 for 1 child, £14.00 for 2 children, £19.50 for 3 children  (aimed at children aged 3+ but everyone is welcome)

World Microscope Day - Saturday 12th April – 11am to 3pm

The Norris Museum is excited to welcome back Milton Microscopy Group of the Quekett Microscopical Club for another World Microscope Day celebration!

Explore the fascinating world of microscopy through hands-on activities, including crystal growing, leaf print creations, and live microscopy demonstrations. Examine rare specimens and talk to experts, as well as experiencing both traditional and digital microscopy, with subjects displayed live on screens.  Free to drop in.

 


St Ives Library - Events and Programmes:

The staff here aim to welcome children from the very earliest months, helping parents and carers to support them as they grow and learn. We try to provide a range of activities, programmes and initiatives which introduce and extend the library experience for children.


St Ives Corn Exchange - Community Events:

The St Ives Corn Exchange runs community events which are "not for profit" and the cost covers only the price of the entertainer and sweets / drinks for the children. Here is a poster regarding their Easter family event on 15 April 2025:
