Parent Connect is popping up across Cambridgeshire. Our friendly, informal Parent Connect sessions are back this term, including some new locations. You’ll find us in:

Parent Connect is a chance to meet other parent carers, ask questions, share experiences and get information and signposting from people who understand SEND family life. There’s no referral and no diagnosis needed — just book your place and come along.

Art Adventure Club: Patterns in Time - Saturdays 2–3:30pm | Ages 6–11 and their adults
Our popular family art club returns for the autumn with a new theme exploring the idea of time through art. Each session uses different creative techniques including painting, sculpture, printing, collage and more.

Little Explorers: First Friday of the month, 10:30–11:30am | Ages 2–4 and their adults
Our new Little Explorers club is specially designed for younger children and their grown-ups. Each session combines a story with creative activities, games and opportunities to explore the museum together.

Autumn Quiz Trail - 24–31 October | FREE
Explore the museum and celebrate autumn with our seasonal quiz trail. Follow the questions around the museum, see how many you can answer and complete the trail to earn free stickers!
Enchanted Nature Wands - Tuesday 27 October, 11am–3pm | FREE drop-in
Create your own enchanted nature wand using natural sticks, colourful wool, beads, feathers, buttons and more. Perfect for imaginative adventures, storytelling or simply as a special keepsake.
Felted Monster Faces: Family Workshop - Friday 30 October, 10am–12:30pm
Get creative with textile artist Ricki Outis and discover the magic of wet felting! Children aged 5+ and their adults can layer colourful wool fibres to design a unique monster face, using warm water, soap and plenty of rubbing to bind the fibres together.
£24 for 2 at a table or £36 for 3. Limited places – online booking essential.
