Household Support Fund

The Household Support Fund (HSF) helps people experiencing immediate financial hardship to pay for food and household energy bills.

You can access this support directly through the County Council.  This scheme will end on 31 March 2026*

This is money the council has been awarded by HM Government to help those in need and most affected by the cost of living crisis to support them to resolve their financial issues. It is not charity and does not need to be paid back.

The Government are replacing the HSF with a "Crisis and Resilience Fund".  Access to this support will be via the County Council again.  Here is a link to the government's website with information (Cambridgeshire County Council have yet to update their website, more news is likely to follow soon):
 
 
HOLIDAY FOOD VOUCHER SCHEME:
 
Each holiday Cambridgeshire County Council send out a letter and frequently asked questions for parents, to access the free school meal vouchers.  This scheme comes under the Household Support Fund and is called Cambridgeshire's Holiday Voucher Scheme (CHVS).  We will publish this information here before each holiday:
