ABOUT PAWS

THE PHOTOS BELOW SHOW VARIOUS PURCHASES THAT PAWS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FUND FOR THE SCHOOL'S BENEFIT:

Hello and welcome to PAWS!

Parents at Wheatfields School (PAWS) is the school's PTA (parent teachers association) and a registered charity (charity number 1101705).  We are a small group of Parents, Carers and Teachers who volunteer our time and energy to enrich the Wheatfields Pupils' educational experience by connecting the school community and raising valuable funds for our children's education.  We provide additional money which is hugely appreciated by the school.  Over the last few years we have funded:

  • Colourful outdoor furniture
  • Classroom reading books
  • Kindles
  • Year 6 leavers presents
  • Musical instruments
  • KS1 and KS2 playground clocks
  • Library refurbishment
  • Net books
  • Life Bus visit to school
  • Adventure playground equipment

We are always looking for new members or anyone who can help at any event during the school year. Aside from the committee members, we also need a pool of helpers we can call on.  If you think this might suit you, please email us or join one of our meetings to let us know. The usual fund raising activities include:

  • Christmas Fayre
  • Sponsored events
  • Summer Fete

We are also grateful for any prizes or contributions that people can access through the companies that they work for or people they know – everything helps!

Without your help PAWS cannot survive. Please do contribute in any way you can – your children will benefit from all our efforts.
