ABOUT US

We are a preschool, situated on the Wheatfields school site and, in our school, children are currently able to join our Preschool at the age of 3 and start in Reception in the year they turn 5.

We have a wonderful new building with the following facilities:

  • two spacious playrooms
  • a lovely outdoor space
  • access to forest school
  • wheelchair accessible building
  • cloakrooms and toilets including a disabled toilet

 

Opening times and session times:

Preschool is open from 8.30am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday.  We run 2 sessions and a lunch club:

Morning session (3 hours):  8.30am to 11.30am

Lunch Club:   11.30am to 12.30pm

Please provide your own healthy packed lunch OR book a hot meal with us at a cost of £2.20 per day.

Afternoon session (3 hours):   12.30pm to 3.30pm 

 

Fees:

Preschool charges £5.25 per hour.

Once your child is 3 years old, they are eligible for 15 hours free funding. If both parents are working and circumstances allow, you can apply for 30 hours.

Children are welcome to attend for extra hours over their funded sessions at a cost of £5.25 per hour.

If you are accessing this funding, your child is eligible to join our lunch club if you wish, at an additional charge of £5.25 per day.

For those children who have 30 hours funded and wish to attend Preschool full time, (5 days x 7 hours = 42 hours per week), then we charge for the additional 5 hours @ £5.25 per hour.

Snacks are provided at Preschool and parents are charged a sum of £10.00 per term for each child as a contribution.
