As part of our Christmas events this year, PAWS would like to invite your children to join a Video Chat with Santa. Since our Christmas fair can't go ahead in school this year we want to make sure children still get a chance to chat with Santa. For a donation of £3 you can book a real, live video chat with Santa.

Santa will be available on the following dates:

  • Monday 6th December 5-6pm
  • Tuesday 7th December 5-6pm
  • Monday 13th December 5-6pm
  • Tuesday 14th December 5-6pm

To book a space for your family, we will be using the Parentevening Booking System the school uses for parent consultations. Please follow the instructions below to make your appointment.  Bookings can only be made online so we ask you to NOT call the school office. However, the office will certainly help you with any queries you may have logging into the booking system.  The booking system will open at 10am on Thursday 2nd December and will close at 4pm on Sunday 5th December. (Only one booking per family please)

  1.  Click on
  2.  Complete your child's details (if you have more than one child, we ask you to use just one child's  name)
  3.  Select the date you would like to have your 'Video Chat With Santa'
  4.  Select 'Manual'

The next page will show you your child's name with Mrs Probert listed as the class teacher.  All bookings are being made with Mrs Probert as she is very good friends with Santa and will be helping him with the video calls.

  • Click on 'Continue to bookings' and you will then be able to select your time.

The 'Chats With Santa' will be 3 minutes long and like the parent consultations, there will be a countdown shown on your screen.

You can donate using Bopp by following this link

Alternatively you can use bank transfer, please see below:

Remember all money raised goes towards the climbing equipment.

Don't forget the Christmas book club orders close this Friday 3rd December:

This year we are raising funds to buy some incredible new climbing equipment for the children to enjoy.  We’ve almost hit our target and are having a last push before Christmas so that we can get this installed in February!

To help reach our goal we’ve organised an online Christmas event. Your support would be hugely appreciated as we raise those last few pounds for this fantastic project that will benefit all our children.

Save the Dates!!!

Beginning the evening of Wednesday 8th December through to Friday 10th December PAWS will be bringing you our online Christmas event.

There will be in school and online competitions, online stalls, video events to join in with, a big raffle and even the chance to chat with the big man himself.

More details will follow

Please like and follow our Facebook page click here for PAWS FACEBOOK PAGE for regular updates and for some of the online content.

 Dear Parents and Carers

Also remember the Christmas book club closes on Friday 3rd December.

We currently very busy planning a safe Christmas event. More information is coming soon.

Dear Parents and Carers

Jade Hockie - Secretary

Katie Skinner - Member

Nicole Davies - Member

We also have several new additions to our helpers list.

Halloween Trail

Thank you to all who joined in this years Halloween Trail. The trail raised £47. We had some prizes kindly donated by Nuts Bistro and Dumbletons Photography. The winning addresses were Chelmer Close with a display using lights, smoke and a moving dragon, Heddon Way with a display of tomb stones, witches and ghosts and All Saints Green with creepy skeletons, decorated pumpkins and crime scene tape.

Dress Down Day

The first dress down day in over a year and a half was very well supported. We raised £162.25. Thank you for your generosity.

Play Equipment

All the money generously donated from these events will go towards this years big project. PAWS will be funding the installation of a new piece of climbing equipment on the soft fall area located near the current climbing equipment and the kids club building. We are currently in the process of gathering information about availability and lead times and obtaining quotes for supply and installation. We currently believe that the whole process will cost around £7000 - £8000. The donations we have received so far this year and the funds we continue to raise, will go towards seeing this project come to life.

Christmas Plans

We are currently working on a plan to present some Christmas events in a safe way. Please bear with us as we develop this plan and endeavour to bring Christmas to life for our children this year. Keep an eye out for emails over the next few weeks.

Thank you to everyone for your support and generosity with our events.  Stay safe.

Dear Parents and Carers

As we cannot have the usual Scholastic Book Fair in school this term, your child will bring home a leaflet this week for the Christmas book club.

Go to to browse the latest books and order online.

For every £1 you spend on this month’s Book Club, our school will earn 20p in Scholastic Rewards.

Please place your order online by December 3rd, 2021.

The books will be delivered to your home if you choose to, or to school or preschool before the end of term.

Also please remember the last day for ordering Christmas cards is Monday 15th November.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
